The 2026 Island Home Dogwood Trail that winds through the Island Home Park Neighborhood will be open the entire month of April. That’s April 1 – 30.
Dogwoods, redbuds, cherry trees, azaleas as well as other perennials and spring annuals shine throughout. The pink lines lead vehicles, bikers and walkers through our 2.5 mile trail. We’ve been part of the Dogwood Arts trails and gardens since the mid-1980s. The IHP neighborhood features two Camera Sites – the Stanley home on Spence Place and Lisa’s Garden at the west entrance. Additionally, the Stanley home at Stanley’s Greenhouse, on Davenport Road, is a Camera Site and Open Garden. You are welcome to walk by the wildflowers growing around the large Stanley pond.
Dogwood Arts Trails and Gardens has events the entire month – thirteen Dogwood Trails open daily all month, guided Hikes and Blooms throughout the month, Featured Gardens on April 18 and 19. Some events require registration so check out the website for more information.
We will have trails and neighborhood information in the Information box next to Lisa’s Garden at our west entry.
DogwoodArts.com has detailed information about all of the things going on in April sponsored by Dogwood Arts, including the Dogwood Arts Festival, the outdoor arts and crafts festival held in the World’s Fair Park the last weekend in April.
